Keep voting but it keeps saying same amount of votes, weird. I hate how some people are waiting for the H.W division to come back, they should enjoy the lower weight classes.

You have to see the "view map" that's where it changes, already 69% 31%.

Fuck that poll and fuck Dana White for marketing his piece of **** company on that propaganda.

            1. The Klitschko bros. get half of Germany to watch their fights and fill out 60k capacity soccer stadiums

            2. The Kameda bros. get 70 point ratings in Japan

            3. Pacquiao gets 90-100% of the Phillipines to watch his fight, Viloria and Donaire got 70 point ratings last time out.

            4. Hatton can fill out a soccer stadium and get a million buys in the UK for a fight that airs at 4 in the morning.

            6. Chris John is among the most recognizable figures in Indonesia so is Jean Marc Mormeck in France.

            7. JCC Jr.? Saul Alvarez? Boxing does better ratings than Soccer in Mexico.

It should ask if boxing is dead in America and even then Mayweather gets 1 million different people to pony up $50+ for a catchweight tuneup fight. 2 Non Americans more than 800k. Fuck outta here.

Ufc's ppv's are generally solid throughout the year, it may not top the highest grossing boxing ppv for the year, but its numbers are consistent.

If the names ain't pac or floyd in the main event, then people generally don't give a ****. Ufc 103 had no real big names, but it was still able to pull in a decent # for what it was.
if its dead to you then stop ****ing posting on here

Boxing is still alive, but it's losing in popularity and there is two reasons why. One reason is because most championship bouts continue to be broadcast usually on premium-channels (HBO and Showtime).

The other reason is that many fights don't happen because of the politics of the sport or boxers getting injured. For example Floyd Mayweather vs Juan Manuel Marquez should of happened in July 18. Also boxers like Hopkins, Dawson, Mayweather, etc fight only once or twice a year and that's a MAJOR TURN OFF for both boxing fans and casual fans.

To BREAK this trend boxing needs to be broadcast on regular television like TNT, CBS, NBC, ABC, or even S p i k e. That way more power is given to boxers and less on the promoters.
