Are there winnable fights for Berlanga that would make a fight with Canelo seem reasonable?

It's a horrible mismatch on paper. I'm not sure there's anything that can actually be done to make a fight between the two seem practical.

Probably not. Was thinking this myself, how do you match him without exposing him? There’s no way he beats a guy like Ryder, Munguia or Jacobs.

I had an absolutely horrible thought of Matchroom digging Julio Cesar Chavez Jr up but surely he ain’t making 168. Shane Mosley Jr was another semi-recognisable name I thought of.

If I’m Matchroom, I’m using Berlanga to build somebody else, maybe feed him to a prospect like Pacheco if he progresses enough.

Winnable? Beating Munguia but only if Munguia has a belt or there's a vacant belt on the line. Even then Munguia, despite all his tune ups, would still be the strong favorite to beat Berlanga.

Munguia and I'm not sure if that's enough or not. Munguia ain't very good win either.

My boy you should already know- Gabe Rosado and chavez jr. are probably what sold Edgar on signing with matchroom.

They are probably the only guys he can beat at 168. Rosado might body his ass. Lol.

Yeah Rosado would actually be a live dog in there, even at this stage of his career.

If Berlanga can beat Benavidez or Morrell at 168, than yes.
