These two and Fulton v. Inoue are the only fights that I’m truly interested in.

WBC, WBA and WBO didn NOT have Stanionis in their top 10 rankings.
These are facts that you can literally Google.

Boots fought a guy that ranked in the top 10. Now Ortiz is doing the same thing with Stanionis who is ranked 6th.

Is it just misplaced toxic hate that you have for Boots or were you not aware of these facts?

This does not need to spiral down to the usual arguments. I’ve given you facts.
Stop it! The only reason why Stanionis wasn’t ranked by any other organization was b/c he’s the WBA regular champion. Just like Boots is now for the IBF he is no longer ranked by any other organizations. Don’t try to compare what Vergil doing next to what Boots did on his last fight. Stanionis is a Top 5 welterweight while Karen isn’t even in the top 20 @ 147. Vergil isn’t taking the easy route towards a belt he’s earning it the hard way. Stop for a moment and put some respect on Vergil’s name the kid is 24 yrs old and daring to be great while others take the path of least resistance

I never said I don’t respect Ortiz. Where do you come up with that?

Two, Karen was ranked in the top 10 when Boots fought him. In fact, he is ranked 11th and 14th (obviously dropped because he lost) by two organizations so you are peddling lies. Why would you do that?
I’ve taken the liberty to screen grab two organizations ranking Karen. Please note the dates and you can Google this yourself.

You’re disrespecting Vergil by implying he’s doing the same thing Boots did in his last fight which he isn’t. Karen is no where near the level of opponent that Stanionis is. If you truly knew boxing you would know that. Guess who else was ranked in the top 10 by two organizations when Vergil fought them yup the one and only Michael McKinson who was demolished by Vergil in 9. So if anything Boots what’s doing what Vergil had done a yr before. Also, if you want to go by ratings then Stanionis is ranked #6 overall by the ring @ 147 lbs while Karen ain’t nowhere to be found, LOL. Again, don’t disrespect Vergil’s opponent who is a legit top 10 opponent with a journeyman like Karen

Great fight, I might have to make the trip out to Texas. Regardless this has a good chance to turn into a fight of the year candidate, can’t wait

We are not arguing about the level of opponent Karen is vs Stanionis. You said Karen wasn’t ranked in the top 20. Those were your words. They were incorrect and I sent you proof. Period.

I am fully aware that Stanionis is ranked higher than Karen. That’s not in dispute. I’m proving that Karen was in the top 10 when Boots faced him. How in the world is that disrespecting Ortiz??

Great fight, but is it really for a "World" title? This is the same "World" title that Daniel DuBois, David Morrell Jr., Erislandy Lara, and Tank Davis have! Hopefully the WBA does it's job, and eliminates ALL these "Regular" titles in 2023!!!

I wasn’t aware that the Inoue-Fulton fight was confirmed. It seems like a lot of people talking but……
                  Inoue-Fulton is mouthwatering tho

Just give it up! Haters are gonna hate! Boots was IBF #1, and when Spence vs. Crawford didn't happen, Boots appealed to the IBF for a fight with WBC/WBA/IBF Champion Errol Spence Jr.! The IBF ordered Boots vs. Karen, and gave Spence 120 days to fight Boots for the IBF title! On the other hand, Ortiz Jr. was WBO #1, and WBA #1. Ortiz Jr. decided to appeal for a fight with WBA "Regular" Champion Stanionis, instead of WBO Champion Terence Crawford! Those are just the facts! Hopefully Errol Spence will fight Boots, or vacate the IBF title, and then let's see who is in a rush to unify with Jaron" Boots" Ennis!
