But between those two, I feel that Caleb has the superior boxing, and perhaps tactical intelligence. He could find a way to get Benavidez tired as the fight goes on, and take advantage of that at the end. Just a perception of course, but I'm sure it'll be a great fight to watch.
That is a great analysis of their upcoming fight Tatabanya, I like David's all action combination punching fighting style, but that street thug trash talk, his dad getting into it to.
That killed it right then, and there for me, you want to become champion, well then act like a champion.
Plant comes across like a smug jerk too, so who know's they're both put on the spot in front of the cameras, and neither one want's to look weak.
So I know that you've got to get into that kill or be killed mind set, and it's hard to hold back what's been building up inside leading up to the fight, but that was just gutter.

      Exactly, my friend.

Besides - if I have to be really cynical - Benavidez has already fùcked up in the past with his ******* habits, whereas Plant had to dig extremely deep within himself to overcome the sorrow for his daughter's death. Therefore I'm inclined to think that Plant is the one with more guts between the two.

Naturally, all of this goes out of the window if Benavidez manages to hit him seriously...

I just read on Boxing News 24, that Benavidez has three big fight's coming up after Plant, against Morrell, Andrade, and Charlo.
I'll believe that when I see it, he has to get past Plant first, who should should get the same opportunity to fight all 3 of those fighter's if he defeat's Benavidez.
Benavidez, and Plant stand a good chance of defeating Andrade, and Charlo, but I think all 4 of them get torched by Morrell.
Who unfortunately is the first one on the list for Benavidez to fight after the Plant fight, no one on this list get's past the other 4, except for Morrell.

Yes I know, in theory even Canelo beats Beterbiev.

Too bad Benavidez or Canelo don`t even try.

LoL, he lost to Bivol badly, and bought Kovalev out with career money to skip rest (and healing) between fights and fight on a 3 week training camp <complete thumbs down buyout>. But I guess that IS trying.

PS I don't blame Kovalev. You'd be a fool to pass on that much money, even for a beatdown.

If he does have 4 fights it should take about 2 years. About the time Beterbiev has left in the sport so he might have a good run at LH.
