The situation will remain the same for a couple more years. Inactive fighters still have plenty of money in the bank to keep their balls staying warm.

But I guarantee, they'll be begging for fights worth less than 40K each in their 40's. Wasting your prime is such a ridiculous behavior in a sport that prompts you to retire at an early age.

No doubt, there’s a lot of fights I’m looking forward to

but in reality they’re not big crossover fights that get kids into boxing, they’re mostly the ones you watch when you already like boxing

I can see why UFC is more appealing to kids and teenagers today. The names they’ve heard about usually fight each other without stringing it out for years
