Tyler Denny produced a career-best performance against Brad Pauls to successfully defend his English middleweight title. Although the pair served up a competitive, entertaining fight, Midlands man Denny dominated for large spells and was awarded a unanimous decision by the judges. Howard Foster and Terry O'Connor both scored the 10-rounder 97-93 while Michael Alexander saw it 98-93 and the previously-undefeated Pauls could have few complaints about the decision.

Wouldn't mind seeing a Udofia rematch, but not sure what that fight does for either guy at the minute. British challenge next would be good, the BBBofC should mandate him to face the Bentley-Smith winner, he's earned it. Sheeraz-Denny would be interesting to be fair, would Frank pay up to bring him over I wonder.

Yeah, would like to see Denny get a shot at the British, whether it's vacated or Bentley/Smith (think Bentley wins and probably drops the belt and moves onto bigger fights)
