Azat vs Nery should defo be in. Not sure how I missed it. No title on the line but they're both well within the top 10 with both Ring and TBRB and the odds are pretty close - Ney something like a -250 favourite

I will be getting a new masterthread up at some point within the next week or so I imagine although progress has been kinda stymied by my eye injury which has left everything kinda blurry and it's kinda painful looking at a screen too long. However I am gradually getting better and I reckon I'm just making excuses at this point so hopefully sooner rather than later.. maybe even have it up by the weekend.
Got it! Thanks. I just didn’t know if I was missing something. Lol

I feel that the schedule is a damp squib and uninspiring but luckily we have had fights, apart from this past weekend, where the outcome has exceeded the expectation.

It's at times like this that I can become disengaged with boxing. The beauty of pick em is that it keeps me engaged. And the more fights scheduled the ore engaged I am - I wonder how many others feel the same way?
It's indeed sad when there's no Pick Em... but if you start feeling disengaged at any time, YouTube offers a lot to remember in terms of great old fights. Some real ***els in there, including rare title fights occurred in Asia in the 70s, etc.

You know, it's true YT is a treasure trove, but I've come to realise that half the fun for me is not knowing the result - can't beat watching live
allthebestfights-dot-com is a good resource too

anyway talking about schedule - very glad to see that Ortiz-Stanionis is back on track with a new date and I really think Lara vs Wood this Sat. will be a great fight as long as it lasts

For some reason I foresee a one-sided fight in favor of Ortiz. Stanionis is strong but I'd be surprised to see him win more than a few rounds.

I agree on Wood vs Lara. The latter is not invincible in spite of his punch, and Wood is tougher than many. I'll probably throw some cash on both by KO somewhere in the 2nd half, but would not be surprised to see this one go the full 12.

bookies seem convinced Wood is getting KO'd

It's gonna look much like Ortiz vs Kavaliauskas... Eimantas is strong and can box some but Ortiz is also strong has better punch selection and is more imaginative with his delivery and just more naturally fluid

Ok. I’ll get the thread up tonight before bed. I believe they are both Saturday fights, will get it up though.
