If that's the case then Garcia will need that clause because he's going to sleep

Garcia doesn't get a rematch clause. Haymon insisted that only Davis gets a rematch if Garcia wins. If Davis wins, Garcia doesn't get another chance. Garcia already agreed to all of that, from who walks first, etc.

The issue at stake is that if Garcia wins, Haymon still wants to be the A-side and broadcast the rematch through Showtime, while Golden Boy thinks that if their side wins, they should be the A-side and be allowed to use their own broadcast partner.

More of Haymon being greedy. I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up killing the fight. If he really thinks his guy is going to win, it shouldn't even matter. It's only about the broadcast rights to the rematch that only his side is allowed to trigger, and wouldn't even come into play if Davis wins, because then it's a one-and-done.

These are very detailed contractual lingo, do you have sources that backs this up?
I’m not suggesting anything - everything you wrote is very plausible and Al Haymon is known to be very shrewd so I’m not surprised but there’s got to be a source for all this.

I’m a boxing fan and believe Tank destroys Garcia in less than 8 rounds, however, the business side of boxing might just scuttle this fight. I don’t like Oscar one bit but I’m starting to think if this fight doesn’t happen, it’s PBC killing it.

I love how this fight has a fight date but has not been "officially announced". That leaves room for it to still fall apart or get postponed. Until I hear it and you can find tickets available to purchase, this isn't "officially" happening yet.

I also can't stand all the prefight being made talk. They're empty words. Both are going to predict a KO and I would expect that. Though I have zero hype hearing it until again, the fight is official.

Just like I put $500 on Teo to beat Loma.. odds are tasty

The truly ballsy bet would be to put $500 on Ryan to win via KO solely

Reported two days ago by Coppinger. Also in an interview with De La Hoya.

Too much talking but I don't see anything made official yet. It could just be another day another line lol.
