He will. But he won’t be given any credit for trying again and losing. And I doubt he would get any credit even if he wins, if the fight is at 168.

I think Bivol throws to many funches(punches) (tagalog)

        Bivol has Canelo number

Saw the score cards last time? Canelo just needs to win 4 rounds and he gets the UD.

He could do it at 168

Good. Stick to relevant fighters in his own weight class.

Never mistake Canelo for your idols. He can fight anyone at any weight. He doesn't care about more risk or less risk.

Keep watching your idols' bouts with bums which happen once in a year.

Canelo deserves credit for taking a risk against Bivol.

I wish more boxers would follow his example.

More of em probably would if they had acquired generational wealth by their mid 20s and had the guaranteed backing of their own sanctioning org and Vegas win or lose.

The risk / reward calculation looks very different when you already made enough $$$ to set your family for ever than it does when a loss could mean the end of your shot to make real money out of the sport.

I don't think Canelo is in it just for the money. If he was, why move up at all? Why not just fight a load of John Ryders at 168? He's gonna make his money regardless of the opposition.
