    Main Events announced that they have signed undefeated super middleweight Shawn "The Amazing" McCalman to a promotional contract. McCalman, (12-0, 6 KOs), was born and raised in Denver and now resides in Aurora, Colorado, where he trains at A1 Boxing.

      One of those promotional companies that was at one time very prominent in American boxing but you rarely hear from these days. Boxing promoters used to be better than they are now. Non boxing fans and casual boxing fans always knew who the best boxers were and tuned in for the superfights. How the sport has fallen
