Loma has been looking for a way out, first, he pushed the date back to May, saying that he needed more time to prepare when Haney asked for it in March, now,

Loma is asking for his purse to match his maximum pay he's ever had for a fight because he's fighting for undisputed. He didn't make these types of demands when he fought Teo for undisputed. Loma is waiting for Haney or Arum to say no to any of his demands, so that he can walk away from the fight without getting his ass whooped, and without being called a duck.
    Wrong....
    • Lomachanko is not, nor has he ever... asked anyone for more money, fact. He signed a contract for a set amount with Arum. Haney also signed a contract with Arum but he's not asking Arum for more money like Teofimo, Haney is demanding Loma take it from his pocket. Also a fact.

Now that we have that out of the way it's time to apply a little logic....

Everyone knows that Teofimo isn't giving up a penny from his pocket so that's dead talk, DOA. I think we can also agree that nobody from 135-140 will give Haney part of their purse and Devin Haney knows it. In the end, Devin Haney isn't demanding additional money from anyone other than Lomachanko. Why? Simple logic tells us that it's not about the money, it's about forcing Lomachanko to turn down the fight.

For the record, Haney is a big guy just like Nakatani but chinny...with less heart...and no power.

I'm surprised he's even able to make 135 for one more fight let alone 2 more.

Weird that they let a completely random guy like you sit at the negotiation table.

It doesn't take a genius to know that nobody, especially Teofimo, will give Haney a penny of their purse. Not Tank, not Garcia and nobody in the 140lb division, nobody. The contracts are the easy part, that's readily available information. The logic is tougher but most of the time it's the simple answer that's the right answer, okun's law. All it takes is the willingness to accept the facts as they are, not what you want them to be.

          Random guy...LOL...I like that.

The contracts are readily available information? I'm not sure about that. This boxingscene article is based off an old Haney tweet of all things. I'm pretty sure his whole Top Rank deal was 2 Kambosos fights and the Loma fight.

He never said that chill. Folks always finding ways to call a fighter a duck. He just said he’d go up in weight.

Haney hasn't f..... up anyone ever. His last KO was against Antonio "Neverheard" Moran who rumor has it got KO'd in a pillow fight with his girlfriend and he was essentially not blocking any punches in that fight getting hit with every single punch for 7 rounds.

Haney hugs and jabs without any intent to hurt the opponent. That's not "f..... someone up" that's a snoozefest. And on top he was showing off his chicken dance moves against Linares.

Haney talks a lot, walks a little. An undisputed champion who's best win in 29 fights is Jorge Linares. That's some good matchmaking right there, I tell ya. He has a soft chin and no power. A KO waiting to happen when he finally fights someone who is actually good.

I tell ya when Teo was coming up with highlight knockouts and then beats Loma I actually thought he was a pound for pound type fighter. I don’t know what happened but Kambosos ruined this kid. His confidence is shot. Haney would beat him up now. Late round stoppage.
