I remember Bivol saying that he would be willing to go down to 168 pound's in order to fight Canelo, (to make the most money he'll ever earn).

If Bivol can make 168 comfortably, he should do it. If he can`t, don`t do it.

Canelo I believe wants the fight to take place at 175.

Apparently Eubank Junior was fine with fighting Benn at 157 pounds, and with a catch weight.

But many currently active fighters, and retired fighters knew? That the fight requirements were ridiculous for Eubank Junior.

Alvarez vs Bivol at 168 pounds, is a devalued fight. 7 pounds, is a mass amount of weight to drop. And these are fighters already in peak condition.
Bivol has never fought at 168 and Canelo doesn't belong at 175, the fight is pointless just as the first fight was. They both need to stay in their own lanes and fight the best in their own divisions - Bivol vs Beterbiev and Canelo vs Charlo/Andrade/Benavidez.

Yeah it’s blatant BS. The rematch should be at 175. Dragging a career Light Heavyweight down to 168 is a joke.

Chad Dawson said he could make 168 too. How did that work out genius???

I don’t hate Canelo at all, great fighter, but him dragging a 32 year old career Light Heavyweight down to a weight he’s never fought at is disgraceful and only a fanboy would justify that kind of BS.

Canelo tried to fight a prime 175 fighter and got outclassed which proves he's not supposed to be there, Canelo's too short for 175, he doesn't have the height/frame for that weight class.

Alvarez needs to move on, stay and clean up 168. The smaller fighters can move up for Nelo, bringing a bigger, heavier man down is disingenuous.
