Well, for instance after he fairly lost to Frasier, Ali refused to acknowledge the loss and continued to call Frasier a gorilla and such, in a highly more racially volatile time than today. One could argue that he treated Frasier differently than the rest of his opponents, with a meaner spirit, but regardless, I think it suffices to say that Ali was more consistent in personality than Floyd. I mean, Floyd is all over the place on the spectrum, given the day of the week or even the time of day. Don't get it twisted, Floyd is one of my favorite boxers of all time, but it is what it is.Thats not really true. ALi always talked **** to his opponents before the fight and was much more humble after. Except for the first fight with Liston. It was his comin out party so he had to sho out. People have got to realize that there is a lot more to talkin **** than lil ego boost. It can really affect what happens in the ring (ala Ali-Foreman).Comment
