That is very true. Leaving aside ATGs, you had guys like Goyo Vargas, Jose Luis Castillo, Jorge Vaca who were tougher than leather but also had some skills. Then you had really skilled operators like Gilberto Roman. You don't get that anymore. Most Mexican & Mexican-American fighters just seem to walk forward in a straight line, get hit & rely on PEDs to just be bigger & stronger than the guy they're up against.
