I didn’t and don’t justify it, but that’s not what the person whose comment I responded to mentioned. They mentioned the long count and su****ion about the scales as just “part of the sport”. So that’s what I responded to. You’re just deflecting and only responding to what you prefer to see.

Great fight. The gum shield thing didn’t bother me. It’s a veteran move. Ref coulda warned him or took a point but has discretion. Nav had his wits about him because he was responding the whole time & was literally trying to talk his way into getting more time. Ref saved time by shoving the mouthpiece back in, instead of calling time, walking him to the corner & then having the corner wash it or give him a new one.

fight only got better from that point anyways we got 3 or 4 more action packed rounds out of it

That was the ref fault, not Navarette. No one is talking about how Liam Hit Navarette when he was already down by triping. Navarette had a hand on floor and Liam punched him. Thats an automatic one point deduction or DQ.

Wilson may or may not have gone on to win, but he was robbed of the opportunity to try at that moment. Vaquero gets hit too cleanly. I believe Valdez will stop him similar to Berchelt.

He Made history, great win.

He was a beast in 122 AND 126, but he has fire to fight in 130.

Vaquero will eventually get stopped. He almost did tonight, but the ref saved him. Valdez will likely stop him too. Navarrete gets hit way too cleanly and disguises his defensive flaws with volume. Credit to him for showing heart to get up and win against a stronger opponent, but his days are marked. He's no Salvador Sanchez.
