Great fight. The gum shield thing didn’t bother me. It’s a veteran move. Ref coulda warned him or took a point but has discretion. Nav had his wits about him because he was responding the whole time & was literally trying to talk his way into getting more time. Ref saved time by shoving the mouthpiece back in, instead of calling time, walking him to the corner & then having the corner wash it or give him a new one.

fight only got better from that point anyways we got 3 or 4 more action packed rounds out of it

Thats why be a 3 division champion Is not Easy.

          Navarrete did It.

First fight in 130, against a taller opponent top-10 ranked.

          He Made history, great win.

He was a beast in 122 AND 126, but he has fire to fight in 130.

Barboza did beat Pedraza, but he just not that good, no power, and has repeat's the same combination's.

And what the fk are you gonna do about it b***ch? Acting like a long count is just part of the sport is nonsense. I don’t give a shet about either one of these boxers or who won, but justifying a long count as just “part of the sport” is groupie shet and if it was the other way around, your cry baby ass would be whining non stop, you puppet ass pu$$y.

From previous comment I assume he is black ( i could be wrong though). I don't mind nationalistic views especially in this sport that whether people like to admit or not is very nationalistic or ethnic based. I never had a problem with him because, to me, he seemed to be a black man that roots for blacks.....no problem.

but after seeing more and more of his comments it seems to me like he is as you said anti-mexican...which I also don't mind much since blacks and Mexicans are historically for the past 5 or so decades the most dominant so clearly a rivalry will build from that.

But the part I never agreed with is bending over for people outside of the people you root for typically just to spite another group. It pisses me off when Mexican do it and it pisses me off when others do it. But oh well....... i'll get over it.

If foul play was involved then prove it.....but Navarrette doesnt have control or ownership of the scales lmao. That Aussie wanted a built in excuse.

blah blah ranked top 10 my ass. He was a 11-1 fighter, rankings are a joke, winning a vacant title off Liam means zero. Thats whats wrong with boxing today. Now everyone will crap on now he's a great p4p fighter.

Vaquero is one tough hombre, and it was a great accomplishment winning a championship in as many division's.
That said he has such a wild, and unorthodox style that I'm surprised that he's only lost once.
It is a testament to his huge heart, and never say die attitude that he's been able to win so many fight's, and title's.
