There's a part of me that wanted to be a fan of his cause of all the negative feedback he has gotten but biting Angulo sealed it for me. Not a fan because of that. His personality doesn't sit well with me. He seems simple-minded with a dark part to him when you look into his eyes and he talks.

Yes this sums it up perfectly. If he's not serious about his career then he should sign with Oscar or Hearn who would offer him all D-level Euro fights on Dazn with the hopes of a cashout payday with Canelo. Isn't that what he told Andrade? If he is serious about his career and becoming a better boxer then he should go with PBC and fight on Showt----I mean Paramount + (HAHA). Plant - Benevidez - Andrade - Charlo - Dirrel - Morrell - D Jacobs and more than likely Canelo will be back on PBC after he knocks out bum Ryder and gets destroyed again by Bivol.

He's limited. A good litmus test at this point would be John Ryder.

That sounds about right. Maybe they would give him someone like Uzi first, or one of the Dirrell Brothers? Those are the kind of fights he needs. He's not ready for Shishkin, Morell Jr., Plant, and Benavidez!

Andre Dirrell looked absolutely fantastic in his last fight. He had a fire burning in him and was unloading the full arsenal. The Andre I saw last would mop the floor with Berlanga.

Is he at 175 now, or 168?

At this point Berlanga is likened to a newly invented product which can easily be copied and would sell millions in the first launch. The inventor, of course, won't even bother patenting it. All he's/she's interested in is selling it quickly and fast and make as much while it's hot.

I don't think Berlanga can take BJS...

Saunders already won a world title, and he's pretty slick. Berlanga isn't at the world level, and maybe never will be. Perhaps if BJS is a shadow of his former self.

He's certainly not ready for PBC's stable.

PBC - He will be a stepping stone and lose to all their top guys at 168. Bigger money fights at DAZN

So that means you sign with either Matchroom or Golden Boy

Matchroom - Biggest money fight is a pipe dream Canelo fight but that is at most multiple years away and Hearn promised Andrade a Canelo fight too and we see how that played out. Canelo fights who he wants and is booked for 2023 with a Ryder fight and Bivol rematch and has no long term contract with Hearn. So Hearn and promise it don't mean it will ever happen.
Golden Boy - Can offer a Munguia fight this year. A tune up fight then you can go directly into Munguia. Also Ramirez, Bek the Bully

Munguia is the best and most guaranteed big money fight he can get in 2023 and more importantly the most winnable fight of any big fight at 168. He has a chance against Munguia who is moving up from 160 where as I think he loses to all the top guys at 168 and is a major risk of getting upset to a lesser contender at 168 if you take a long term approach before putting him in a big fight.
