Gotta love the WBA, enabling an ordinary fighter to go around for the rest of his life claiming to be a former "world champion". He served his purpose by allowing Tank Davis to win yet another phony belt.

If your gonna question the validity of Barrios former title status, you might as well do it all across the board. Greater violation of world champion status would be guys like Crawford, Spence, Davis and these guys that go carrying belts that others in the same weight class carry and have no qualms about calling themselves “WORLD” champions and never even caring to prove that they’re the best in the world for that weight. Or Charlo going on two years without fighting. They call some of these guys the best P4P instead. Bias in boxing has reached new levels.

Looks like Barrios has bulked up, not that it be enough at welterweight. Wonder if Bob Santos has made improvements to his game.
