cotto got over on team pacquiao with the weight negotiation. 145 is absolutely nothing to cotto who has weighed in at 146 4 or 5 times in his welterweight history.

Real Welters fight at 147, Just like Cotto, Paul williams, Mosley, Berto, Clottey etc...
Unfortunatly Cotto Has to fight at 145 but he will demonstrate that unlike Pac, weight is not an issue. If Pac wee a real welter he would have took the fight at 147 or given Cotto the extra 2 pounds to come in at 147, but FEAR is a MOTHERF****R!!!

thats ridiculous to say ww can be 142,43...it's 147,they want you to make 147,or 140 for jrwelter,,there is no 143 or it would be called super jr welter...come on people,it's either 140 or 147

Can't believe the way Cotto has been treated by the WBO and Bob Arum. The WBO in forcing him to put his Welterweight title on the line in a fight below the Welterweight limit. And Bob Arum in placing the fight at 145 when it was no problem for Pacquiao to fight at 147 against De La Hoya.

the idiots are here again. welterweight limit is between 141-147. 145lbs is very much in the welterweight limit. some idiots voiced their concern that coooto would be drained at 145lbs. but how about pac's? is he not originally from jr. flyweight?

it is a shame for idiots not to know this.

Cotto makin' the weight won't be THE PROBLEM.....those hard left hooks to the body and chin that Miguel loves to touch dudes with is THE PROBLEM Roach should be talkin' about.......but on the flip side its good to see he's at least TALKIN' about Cotto instead of Floyd!!!

i don't remember hearing the announcer:

                    The WBO 141-147 WW champ.......

                    i remember hearing..the WBO 147 champ

                    right?

                    question:

why roach want the fight at 143-145 if pac himself is around 150+?
                    he wants another DLH zombie?

almost sounds like a set up fight for the mega fight between may vs pac. I will guarantee you he will weigh at 145 o.O. Makes me wonder what's in the contract... if cotto goes over 145 he will pay 1/2 of the total amount he makes or freddie will cancel the fight.
