This is what Cotto said "I will not sacrifice my body again for the benefit of another boxer" , now go and research the story surrounding him saying that starting from Manny wanting 143 and follow it all the way till Manny called Cotto out for his 154 title when Cotto said sure, but no Catchweight, Manny said no fight, it's all there, every move is there every step of the way. Cotto was weight affected not as bad as Oscar, Oscar was one of the worst cases of a weight-drained fighter in history worse that LaLonde vs Leonard, worse than Chad Dawson, Oscar was wrecked before a single punch was thrown, sheese Manny outweighed Oscar on fight night, and Oscar gained ONLY 2 pounds from the weigh-in, man was destroyed and a waif that weighed 25 lbs more fighting Floyd, do you comprehend what a massive difference that is.

"I will not sacrifice my body again for the benefit of another boxer"
yeah because cotto already moved up and was already fighting at 154 at that point!!! GEEZUS!! when cotto fought manny at 145, previously he fought clottey at 146 and won the fight!! Try again buddy.

How can anyone say Kovalev was damaged when Canelo fought him, but not account for Cotto being damaged plus suspected PED use from Manny?

          Pac Bois, listen up
You all claim ''1 pound isn't that big of a deal.''.....

Pac must have thought IT WAS !!!

          It was not Cotto's idea

Then, Cotto had his cousin or some **** in his corner who never trained before. As for the weight for Clottey, did you guys actually watch that fight? Cotto did not look good so that's not point that you guys think it is.

Cotto versus Mayweather was more battle tested for sure, but also had more stability and was fighting at a more comfortable weight at that moment in time. These things matter.
cotto never looks good when he steps up on competition.

he's always been hurt during his prime.

the catchweight was never an issue considering 1- cotto is not really that big of a fighter. 2. 24 rehyration.

catweights are more of a status symbol in negotiations and mental advantage than a physical one.

im not even gonna bother arguing which cotto looked better, the cotto that had two beat downs or one.

people just want to play mental gymnastics.

anybody with a modicum of honesty and intellect knows that one beatdown version is better than the two beat down version.

Did Manny beat a better version of Hatton, DLH, or Mosley?

He doesn't. Canelo is nowhere near the level of Pacman and Floyd so to put him in the same sentence is wack. He is not even a top 5 Mexican.

Absolutely not, but to the contrary is what these Floyd boys would have you to believe.

Cotto got the brakes beat off him by Manny, and the Floyd Boys been making up excuses ever since.

Flip it around and compare it to Floyd pulling a lightweight up two divisions in comparison, those excuses are more far fetched
