NEW first ever TAG TEAM boxing match announced on DAZN ppv

DAZN and misfits boxing have announced a new card which will feature the first ever TAG TEAM boxing match. Yes you read that right, and no this isn’t a wwe card, it’s a boxing card.

speaking about this card the head of misfits boxing said it is here to stay and people should get used to it and that they will create more fun matchups in the future.

Who knows, we could see a triple threat match, or maybe a 6 man hell in the cell boxing match or maybe even a royal rumble boxing match. The possibilities are endless and misfits boxing are clearly pushing the boundaries of what people consider to be boxing.

    RIP boxing

      This is the problem

You start with celebrity or YouTube boxing, or Floyd fighting reality TV show people and you can write it of as a bit of entertainment. But then it opens the floodgates for crap like this to be associated with boxing.

It’s not even like it’s on some YouTube channel or odd streaming platform. It’s on the same one that broadcasts the likes of Canelo, GGG, AJ etc and I think that’s a bad thing because it almost legitimises it and gives a platform for even more ******ity.

Well, I still think the biggest problem in boxing is the best fights rarely happening. If they were happening regularly, this would keep boxing in a much healthier place and stuff like tag team boxing wouldn’t really matter. But at this rate, we’re just getting fights nobody really asks for and then they look to some side show stuff like this.

I don’t know about tag-team boxing, but one of the bad things about these misfits cards is some of them are complete mismatches and I think it’s all gonna end in tears one day when some person that has no boxing experience is going to get put in with someone that has enough training to really hurt them, and something bad is going to happen. It’ll happen, sooner or later.

This is good. The ratings suck in boxing and we need to get the ratings up.

So how does this work? Are you only allowed to tag out between rounds? Can I punch the other guy from the ropes as my partner distracts the ref? What if I refuse to tag in?

Mayweather-McGregor was the start. It made people realise you only needed to be famous rather than accomplished to make big money in boxing.

I just don't know how it can be considered boxing if you're doing a tag team.

                  What a farce.

It's not like they're going to hire Teddy Long, so why bother?

This is cool - it's worth a go.

Let's be honest, boxing is stale and dying a slow death. Gotta keep up with the times, or get left behind.
