this is what the "SWEET SCIENCE" is all about.....hit and don't get hit!!

one of my old basketball coaches once said....."stats are like bikinis, what they hide is VITAL".....and the vital part about those stats are the OPPOSITION that these dudes were able to accomplish these things against.....the height and reach advantages that these guys enjoyed!!!....so those stats HIDE those VITAL things imo.......but big ups to those dudes because thats what this game is about!!!

WOW!!! very impressed with how floyd dismantled an out weighed, old, hand picked fighter maybe Arum is right up next might be Calderon LMFAO. I aint hating on Foney May he was the best and fought the best at LW but he can't be considered the best at WW if he's not fighting the best period. It's just like RJJ he was the best MW and SMW but he wasn't the best LHW because he didn't fight the best the minute he did he got KTFO. The same thing's going to happen to Floyd if he doesn't retire first.

If you can't see how skilled Floyd is, please stop watching boxing, or even better, actually start watching it (besides Pacquiao highlights) so you don't have such uninformed, moronic opinions about things.
Man, its been one hell of a week for the Mayweather haters.....

Anyway, yes sir you are correct. People like to forget about the size in the Oscar and Baldomir fights. Since Mayweather won they don't speak of what must be nonsense. they black it out as if they just woke up next to some ugly ass ***** they went home with and swore to themselves that it NEVER happened and they would NEVER speak of it again.

Today's logic: If you don't look at it, its not there.......

So this is the measure of a fighter? Floyd's last five fights: Marquez-small fighter, Hatton-small fighter, ODLH-old fighter, Baldomir-never was, Judah-never was. Hmmm! That's like saying I am the best metal drummer in the world, if you compared me to 5 Lars Ulrich-like drummers (Metallica)...

Haha..I guess this man will never get the props he deserves no matter who he fights or what any results (in his favor) are rendered. He dismantled the no.2 p4p fighter in boxing (on most "experts" lists). Nobody forced Marquez to take that fight @ ww but Im sure $$ was the ultimate motivation b/c it was a career payday but to land only 12% of your punches when you're that skilled a boxer?? C'mon. Now all of a sudden headz are saying he's "old" but he wasn't considered "old" 2 weeks ago. I actually seen threads where people predicted him to beat mayweather. Hatton..small?? The same mofo who's big boned and walks around at 170-180lbs (in between fights) is small?? Again, you dudes are ridiculous. Again, alotta people were saying he'd beat floyd and once again..the opposition got mauled and ultimately knocked out. De la hoya..old?? Definitely past his prime but a 20mil payday is a 20mil opportunity NO FIGHTER is going to turn down. In my opinion his win was waaay more impressive than pac-man's b/c it was done at oscar's natural wgt on ALL of oscar's terms. Mind you floyd was the smaller man in that fight cause nobody cant tell me de la hoya didnt weigh close to 160 or more the ngt of the bout. Mayweather couldnt have poss weighed more than 150 that night and again he outclassed & outlasted his opposition who was AGAIN predicted to beat him by many (I dont want to hear NOTHING about being too small..If you're highly skilled..a couple lbs or inches wont make an astronomically shocking diff). Baldomir.."never was"..but he WAS only the undisputed ww champ at the time who was boxing's hottest ticket & again was slated to give floyd his toughest challenge to date & even have a chance at beating him (I see a trend here). Zab..mr unpredicatable..but prob the most dangerous of all opponents listed for the 1st 4..5 rds of a fight..got dissected and handled.

It doesnt matter who he fights b/c idiots will forever bash him..why??..Perhaps they're more caught up in disliking his perceived personality as opposed to acknowledging his skill set as a boxer/athlete. If he schools pac..people will start saying manny was "too small"..or cotto was "damaged goods" after getting pounded by margarito..& shane was starting to "show his age". Funny thing is all of manny's past few opponents have been the same as in mayweather's W column (marquez, de la hoya, & hatton)..but he's somehow the best thing since the condum was invented. You dudes are nutty for real.
