Interesting to see where the others stand on the list.
You realize, of course, that this was only possible because he missed the contracted weight by two pounds.

I have only four words to say: Fight a real threat!
        Or: Fight a true Welterweight!
        Or: Get off the bicycle!
And people talk smack about Ivan Calderon. His name is not even on the list.

He blatantly did it on purpose and then didn't want to be asked about it. WTF? Aren't you supposed to be the best? Why couldn't you make weight then? If he fights Mosley next, he'll get my respect. Until then he's just a loud mouth. Too bad for him that he has to fight because of the way he spends(wastes) money. the IRS kept over 5 mil. of the JMM fight.

At 130, Floyd was even faster, more elusive, and threw combos. He would have gone through Marquez like a buzzsaw.

JMM is a fantastic fighter. A HoF-calibre fighter. But everybody has a style that bedevils them. Unfortunately, Floyd's speed and style would be all wrong for Marquez at any weight.

The difference in their abilities is not as great as the style mismatch would make it appear.

He owed the money. He paid it. I'm glad the IRS got their money.

Based on the PPV returns, I believe Floyd made over USD 15 Mn.

Dude got mad skillz, there's no arguing that. After this tune up with JMM I'd like to see him against Mosley... then possibly Pac and Cotto next.
