The reality is they didn’t, Gvodzyk did and became Lineal champion.

You need to remove your bias and stop with this BS agenda. We can all do it. I could sit here and say Bivol has never beaten a defending champion, he won a vacant title and his best win is against a guy who turned pro at Light Welterweight. I wouldn’t though cause it’s pathetic just like your desperate attempt to discredit Beterbiev, Gvodzyk etc is pathetic.

a 41 yo belt older is a weak link. period. that title means very little.

you can say all that chit but it means very little in historic terms. I'll prove it.

How many mandatories did Pac beat? How many lineal titles does he have? it doesn't matter.....because he beat JMM, Morales, Barrera

All that matters at the end of the day is NAMES. nothing else matters. Hagler beat Duran, Leonard and Hearns. All came from smaller weight classes. Their names make the resume more than all those middle weight defences.

Beterbiev retired Gvozdyk, who knocked Adonis Stevenson into a coma.

The Nail was a much better LHW than Zurdo.

41 yrs old who had a very tough draw with Badou Jack the fight before. that is not prime. Gvozdyk is just a footnote beltholder with a single defense. Liam Smith has a better legacy. ded srs.

Based on Zurdo's poor performance vs Bivol, I would pick Yarde.

You can't knock Artur's opponents but at the same time hype up Zurdo. Ramirez had done jack ****, except weigh a **** ton more.

you can pick britney spears as favorite against Bivol. ur an idiot.

i'm a handicapper. the books would have Ramirez as favorite by a margin.

                I think it'd be a fun fight.

Yardes corner did right by stopping it. Saved their fighter for more paydays.

Pacquiao is a 5 weight lineal champion, what a TERRIBLE example to use.

Hagler never beat Leonard either you dope. You continue to preach like some expert but continue to get things wrong.

Lineage will always be relevant in boxing. Whether you like it or not Gvodzyk held the title Conn, Moore, Tiger, Foster etc held. I’m not saying it’s the be all and end all but it’s a very respectable accolade.

Names are for casuals. Trevor Berbick beat Muhammad Ali- the biggest “name” of all. Yet we only remember him for involuntary ice skating versus Mike.

It’s a combination of what you achieve and who you beat. It’s not one or the other.

I believe Ramirez beats Yarde. Yarde would gas out, like against Kovalev and Beterbiev.

Sure, if they fought each other next, with Yarde coming straight off a KO defeat, but that means nothing longer term.

Zurdo swallowed it against Bivol. He came to survive and didn't even try to win. Yarde would never capitulate like that, without even giving it a go. He came back better than ever after getting KO'd by Kovalev and I think he'll come back better again from his loss to Beterbiev.
