Juan Manuel has bigger fish to fry right now. Devon still a nobody.
Marquez should go after Valero for the WBC belt and unify. Either that or Katsidis.

Alexander is a southpaw boxer/puncher, he can fight a controlled fight when he needs do, just as he did with Witter. This would be an interesting fight.

he's not a nobody actually. he holds the WBC title in the 140 pound division. He will give ANY one in the division a fight and as a matter of fact, I like his chances against anyone in 140. But I see what you mean you say that JMM has "bigger fish to fry".

I'd much rather see Marquez back down to lightweight but say he were to fight a jr welter..
Tim Bradley or Ricky Hatton are better fights.

i doubt it happens. too much risk, not enough reward for Marquez. he can get a bigger name and perhaps an easier fight in Hatton

No good. 40' is not JMM's class. No use in him fighting above 35' to be a stepping stone for some undeserving young kid.
