Devon Alexander and his team pushing for a JMM fight!

My man Devon Alexander and his trainer Kevin Cunningham are pushing for a title fight at 140 with JMM. I just read it on b talk and I also read what Kevin said on f i g h t hype.

I remember when Bully made a thread about JMM at 140, and I said that I would LOVE to see the hometown kid fight JMM. I say, PUSH HARD FOR THIS FIGHT!

I hear ya..but if before the fight even happened, he was interested in fighting over guys that are already fighting at 140.

Devon actually wanted to fight Maidana at 140

no way golden boy promotions makes this fight, not enough $$$ because alexander is way to green. unless they would make this fight to try and get jmm a belt at 140, first mexican fighter to win 4 titles in 4 divisions, then move on to bigger fights.

It would be for the WBC belt. Alexander would get ripped up too. He is aggressive.

This would be bad for JMM. Devon doesnt have a name and he's a good Soutpaw which JMM struggles with. I wouldnt do it if I was JMM

I actually think JMM should fight EM at 140 1st just to have a solid name, a great Mexican fight, and it should be an easy win to get his confidence back before he takes on a big fight like Bradley for the belt

Devon's aggressive style and lack of elite defense would play right into JMM hand's. JMM would pick Alexander apart and slice him up. Bad fight for the kid. Better off unifying against the Bradley/Peterson winner.

Devon is very aggressive and he can box. I just wish at times he would mix it up a bit. He tends to get too aggressive but I like his chances..I really hope he can get a big fight with somebody at 140, even if its not JMM.
