I know exactly how marijuana got legalized. The medicinal effects of marijuana have been being pushed since the 80's and there was at one point you could get a few joints prescribed in a bottle decades ago. Plus, it's right from the plant with little to no manufacturing, the aid of care-givers and dispensaries doing the leg work getting the product out. It's pretty much all natural (sorta) and it makes most people kind of sleepy and giggly.

******* is the anithesis in every single regard and if you make ******* legal, you make crack legal because if you have *******, you just need a bit of water and baking soda to make crack. ******* will never ever be legal in the US like marijuana is. Perhaps decriminalized like less harsh sentences for under a gram or something, but you'll never go into a store and buy a bag of coke, not in our lifetime.

Some places still use the coca leafs to heal cuts , stings and aches and pains
Ffs ******* was also in Coca Cola until they began lying to the people about its effects
The US spent 10 bn$ the last 20 years in Columbia trying to eliminate coca plants
