Now that Spence has moved up to 154 I’m kind of losing interest in him. Crawford-Ortiz Jr is a better fight if Ortiz Jr get by Staniosis. It’s also a bigger PPV fight.

Bingo.
It's a great/smart move by Oscar however which way you want to look at it. Crawford vs Spence gets made,GBP is in the picture and reaps the benefits win or lose. If that fight doesn't get made You still have Cobbs,Rocha and Vergil. Obviously the big picture here is Vergil/Bud.Ortiz vs Crawford would be a massive fight that could very well be a "passing of the torch" type moment in Vergils career, propelling him to stardom.Comment

I think this can be beneficial for both sides because Oscar's actually looking out for his welterweights by having them have the opportunity to fight, arguably the 1 p4p best fighter in Crawford. At the same time, Crawford can build his brand by working with Oscar and co. and fighting his young, upstart and very popular Latin-based roster. This is very smart, business moves for both parties actually.
Arum/TR couldn't get the job done and Haymon/PBC royally fumbled the ball, let's see what DLH/GB can do.Comment

The fight that he should make is the one between Bud Duckford and Vergil Ortiz. I believe at one point that Ortiz was Terence's WBO mandatory challenger but Oscar refused to enforce and ducked it by chasing after Spence's WBA title.
In any case, Crawford signing with Golden Boy is a good starting point because Duckford needs someone with the backing and the leverage in order to make that fight happen. That is of course if Dud's demands are not too unreasonable.Comment

Crawford linking up with Golden Boy makes a lot of sense and I hope it’s not just more Oscar talk. It’s clear Crawford needs a promoter/network behind him to make a Spence fight. And fights with Rocha and Ortiz would keep him sharp .Comment

Bud was born and raised in Nebraska which is 99.99% white. He was taught to hate himself and others that look like him. I'm quite sure the school system in that state doesn't offer any courses on black history. He probably was taught that the first blacks to touch shore in America in 1619 were illegal immigrants looking for welfare. This dude has no sense of pride in himself or his people. Your best option was to sign with PBC because they have about 10 good fights fir you between 147-160. But that Nebraska education just wouldn't allow you to do business with Al. Just a year ago this guy was one of my favorite fighters, but after the shenanigans he pulled last summer I can't stand this guy now. Fuq U Bud you cornhusker coon!Comment
