I couldn't have said it any better than that. Since you brought up Canelo's name, he had stated in the past about wanting to fight Beterbiev, and Usyk.
They would both destroy Canelo, knocking him out in humiliating fashion, and that would be the end of that total bull****.

Correct. Bivol didn`t have to bother about Canelo`s power. Artur is a different story.Comment

Only took the ref 4 rounds to pull the protector back down hahaYarde was allowed to wear body armor to protect his midsection, had crooked UK judges and still lost yet another undeserved title fight. I am sure Frank Warren is already greasing crooked palms right now securing him another mando spot. If Yarde had to earn his spot and fight through other top 10 challengers he might actually learn something and improve.Comment

Canelo's greatness cannot be denied. Skill-wise, he can compete with anybody on the planet P4P. But there's weight classes for a reason. He is already a small SMW. When it comes to physicality, size matters and it was very apparent it mattered in the Bivol fight. Credit to him for being ambitious, but SMW is his limit IMO. Beterbiev and Usyk shouldn't even be a thought for him.

Where was this p4p skill of canelos when he failed to adapt to what bivol was doing and didn't have a plan b or c in there?

To be clear I didn't say or insinuate anything that would question Canelo's achievement's in the ring from 168 pound's, and below that weight class.

What I said is what you reiterated in the last half of your reply. I don't know what is about this platform that compel's subscriber's to change another's narrative.
Your disagreement is with Canelo himself who was not only talking about fighting light heavyweight's, but cruiser weight's, and even heavyweight's.
Once Bivol smacked him around, he came back down to earth real quick, but here's the thing even at 168, I don't see him holding onto that belt much longer.
You see Canelo is starting to slow down, getting nicked up, bruised up, swollen up, and gassed towards or at the end of his fight's.
Where as back in the day he barely looked like had been in a fight, but wear and tear as well as Father Time is catching up to him, and it's showing.

I agree. Wasn't tryna go against anything you said or change your narrative. When I said "greatness" I meant of the skills and abilities of Canelo, not of his accomplishments. I shoulda worded that different so I'll take that one. But to make the point that as skilled as he is and has been, his lack of size against highly-skilled, far bigger men like Usyk and Beterbiev just doesn't let me see him winning those fights at all. With almost 70 pro fights and constantly fighting bigger men, his prime does seem to look like it maybe coming to an end.
