    Yarde is a talent

It's a shame he didn't start boxing at an early age because he has all the physical tools. As it is I could definitely see him having a Glen Johnson type of career if he continues to put the graft in, a year or so ago it didn't look like he'd get past domestic level.

I was really impressed with the improvements he's made, needs to continue to work on his defence. I think as his experience grows he'll be able to mask his stamina issues.

I felt like he got pretty busted up but hung in there with decent counters

Hes got a chin, you could see the pedigree from AB, he had better fundamentals and distance control. But...

Yarde really impressed me and i expect him to improve if he maintains this mentality. Hes got a good shot at becoming a world champion for sure

He’s a physical specimen and has power, athleticism, and speed but is quite famine in the boxing iq department. It’s all reactionary and explosive which can work against an aging brawler like Beter but a high level boxer sees that a mile away. He’d look completely lost and bewildered against Bivol, then again who wouldn’t? Too late to change a lot but adding a new coach to at least tighten things up can’t hurt.

He’s a quarter horse competing in races designed for thoroughbreds. Hard to match him for the first 3-4 furlongs.

There’s a lot of untapped potential with Yarde, he’s got a lot of the physical tools you need to succeed at the top level. He desperately needs a proper trainer. Imagine what a Shane McGuigan could get out of him. His loyalty to Tunde is holding him back.

Good comparison. It’s like he travels well through the race but can’t find anything on the home straight. Definitely carrying a little too much muscle mass which isn’t good for stamina. I think with a new training program we could see a completely different fighter.

I hope he can recover from the punishment in this fight and go onto have a good career

Larry Holmes started boxing at 18 or 19 or something....let's not get carried away with Yarde. He's got world level athleticism.
