You really can't compare the Marquez PPVs since Mayweather fought Marquez post De La Hoya.. Pacquiao fought him Pre.

What will determine who is the biggest will be the upcoming PPV with Cotto.
Mayweather better hope Pacquiao doesn't out sell him.

cong**** to floyd. but its not purely him. the delay, the mexican indepence day and jmm going up against one of the best. jmm's past ppv may not reflect this but it's all relative to the conditions prevailing, like this pac-jmm fight was pre-DLH. props to floyd though, cant argue that these numbers help boxing.

but you have to appreciate the fact that pac who is obscure as of 5yrs ago and is not american but pulling respectable numbers as well.

but you cant compare Pac/Cotto with May/Marquez....marquez was simply a tune up....i dont think pac would ever get 1 mill buys from a tune up....put mayweather against mosley and then you can compare those fights

              Thanks for that perspective, though.

The fact that Pacquiao, who isn't even American is selling this well in the US is impressive.

At the end of the day, if you're trying to say that fans are more satisfied after paying for a Floyd Mayweather fight than they are a Manny Pacquiao fight, then we are living in two different worlds, you and I.

Sure, more people bought the PPV's. I won't argue that, the proof is in the pudding.
