I can show you some financial statements that looks too good to be true.
People just looks at the numbers and goes yeah it looks good but doesn't consider the whole picture. They just look at the total sales but not the growth.
Look at this way when you compare the transition from Dela Hoya to Hatton:
Mayweather = from 2.4m down to 950k = 60% Decline
Pacquiao = from 1.2m down to 825k = 30% Decline
Of course De la hoya is a bigger draw. Put people don't consider that pacquiao's popularity is continually growing.
I can even see it happening in my own eyes. During the fight with hatton vs pac there's 2x as much people at my house compare to the delahoya fight. Of course that's an isolated data, but the fact that people talked about it, asked their friend friend's how exciting that fight was and are willing to want to see more speaks for itself.
