I give Yarde props. He did MUCH better than I gave him credit. I can't tell if Beterbiev is still recovering from surgery or if Father Time is inching closer, but he looked vulnerable at times; moreso than usual.

I know Bivol will be the favourite and maybe rightly so considering the age etc, but i just dont see how he goes 12 without taking significant damage, and how does he keep beterbiev off him? bust him up with the jab and 1-2s all fight? sure but he's going to be taking far more damage in return and im not sure he can survive. either way i cannot wait to see it

Good action fight Yarde did better than I expected but his stamina just doesn't fare well at top level especially against experienced fighters. He showed heart though and stunned Beterbiev a few times I think he also hurt him with a right to the body as well.

After watching this fight I'm starting to think that maybe age is catching up a bit with Beterbiev and if he fights Bivol I give Bivol a good chance at winning that fight, his footwork is very good and Artur isn't hard to hit so if he keeps him at range he can tee off with the jab straight right all night.

Even the nipple-high padding couldn't save him lol
