Of course he did. Beterbiev was on the verge of shattering Yarde to pieces.

Great fight. Even when Beterbiev was hurt, it never felt like the fight truly got away from him. He's very calm under fire, knew when to retreat and when to clinch, knew when to bide his time and let Yarde come to him. Beterbiev is a hunter of the highest order. I think this version of Yarde would've won the Kovalev fight, but he's still a sucker for the jab.

That was a better fight than I expected. I think Bivol has the right style to take it on points. Respect to Yarde for that work though.

Yarde showed heart, but his conditioning is always going to let him down. He lost his mouthguard twice because he was gassed trying to suck air in.

Basically a slighter better version of Eubank Jnr.
