should have took the fighter earlier when it was offered. Makes perfect sense. If it doesn't make sense to you, then I can't help you understand it.Comment

Golovkin's conduct as Champion was similar to Wladimir & Vitali Kiltschko.
Golovkin was very systematic, objective in his approach and conduct.
I personally think great Champions, are objective when it comes to rankings and taking on all comers.
Notice the difference between, Tyson Fury's heavyweight reign compared to Wladimir Kiltschko's.
Some people may not have enjoyed Wladimir Kiltschko's reign, but he was in every sense of the word 'The World Heavyweight Champion'.
Wladimir Kiltschko was for me 'The Last Great Heavy weight Champion'.
If you was his mandatory or a contender ? Wladimir Kiltschko was going to fight you 'Make no doubt about it'.
Fighters like this, will bluntly just fight. So morally they do make good Champions. You cannot really criticize them.
Tyson Fury is a great fighter. But I have never described him as a great Champion. As I don't think Fury has the intentions to take on all comers.
Being a mandatory fighter or contender is not enough for Fury, or his hardcore fans 'For a fighter to capture a Heavyweight title fight opportunity'.
Anthony Joshua was the only Heavyweight Champion since The Kiltschko's, who attempted to take on all comers. If you was his mandatory or top contender, he was most likely going to fight you.
Deontay Wilder also, I don't think he was a bad Champion. And he did try his up most best to hang on to his WBC Heavyweight title, both inside and outside of the ring 'Total competitive warfare, that was what the Fury vs Wilder trilogy displayed'.

Well, he is good enough that Canelo needed 3 fight to beat him clearly. And he had to made GGG to come 1 division up for this fight.Comment

Lmao easily the biggest over hyped diva in the last ten years that hid in a dead division waiting for a payday. He is literally the blueprint to how fighters act now, make some noise and wait for a payday while fighting no hopers. You can thank GGG for setting that example and now we have the Andrades, Charlos, Benavidez of this world sitting around waiting for that jackpot ticketComment

That’s what team ggg said but what they meant was anyone from 154-168 as long as HBO approves, as long as we get the lions share of the money, as long as we dictate all terms and as long as your name isn’t Andre Ward. They insisted on 164 for a Ward fight. They knew Ward would be hard pressed to make 168 and 164 would be out of the question. They could act like they wanted a Ward fight but knew they wouldn’t have to actually fight him.
After the fight fell apart, Ward moved up a weight class and fought the #1 guy there in the perceived killer Kovalev and ggg drug the #3 or 4 welterweight (Brook) up not one but two weight classes for a fight. So who was looking for tough fights and who wasn’t.
I gotta give team ggg some credit, they made millions that they wouldn’t have with a Ward loss on their resumeComment
