Frank Warren is certain Artur Beterbiev and Anthony Yarde won't go 12 rounds Saturday night in London. Yarde's promoter is less convinced that most oddsmakers got it right when they established Beterbiev as a 9-1 favorite to beat his contender in their fight for Beterbiev's IBF, WBC and WBO light heavyweight titles. Warren naturally considers Yarde a live underdog against the Russian knockout artist.

If a past prime Kovalev was able to weather the storm, I think Beterbiev will be ok.

Yarde may look like a massive puncher on paper, but who have those stoppages come against?

If Yarde tries to stand toe to toe with Beterbiev he’ll get obliterated IMO.

Beter won’t brawl he’s a great boxer he’ll break yarde down. Yarde is live tho he got power but this is a different more refined beterbiev than fought johnson

He’s an underrated good counter puncher, two of the KD’s against Joe Smith were counter shots. If Yarde comes out swinging he’ll suffer a similar fate.

I don’t see Yarde surviving whatever way he boxes but if he picks his spots, he stands a better chance of seeing the second half of the fight.

Yarde's strategy should be a cap o' Nyquil and a hotel pillow.

yarde looked great in round 8 against kovalev so all he has to do is catch beterbiev once. can't count him out. also beterbiev's been down against johnson.

I think seeing trying to see the second half of the fight is planning for quiet failure. if it goes to the second half of the fight, Yarde really cannot win. His best bet really is to just go for it in the first few rounds, where his energy, speed and strength might possibly -- long shot, of course -- give him an edge.

Warren ruined Yarde - put him in bum fights before feeding him to Kovalev. You need proper learning fights so you know what to do when things get tough. Who has he fought since Kov?
