Wilder wants Joshua not Ruiz. It is a no brainer.

Wilder will get more money for Joshua and it is also an easier fight so why would he want Ruiz. Ruiz has never been stopped and Joshua has no confidence. Ruiz stopped Joshua and Usyk was close in the first fight. Joshua is just looking for some stiff to gain back something. Wilder can smell blood on Joshua and is not letting him out of his sights. Stop picking on Joshua and fight Ruiz or someone else.

    Money is the only reason.

Ruiz is a good fight, but it doesn't make even half the money and we've seen the Fury fight many times.

    He doesn't really have options.

I do think Wilder/Joyce sells as a potential other option, but neither are huge names alone.

Obviously AJ is a much bigger fight than anything else.

They don't want each other yet not happening this year. Wilder wants Ruiz.

        - - U/Deyonce/Haymon need to come crawling on hands and knees before prostrating yourselves before Eddie and AJ, but why would they even wish to receive such a mangy scraggle of curs when they got better options against legit fighters?

If Joshua is to fight Wilder, it will be in two - three fights time.

Right now Joshua is under, no obligation to face Wilder.

The fight stylistically, has always been a difficult fight for Joshua. It is a more dangerous, a difficult fight to prepare for than Tyson Fury.

To suddenly make this fight now for Joshua? Is not good match making from Team Joshua. There will come a point when Joshua has to step up, and fighters such as Wilder, Joyce, Fury, Usyk, Hrgovic 'These will be the fighters, he has to face etc'.

It's a money fight. Everybody wants Joshua. Luis Ortiz wants him, Wallin, Joyce, Dubois, Chisora wants another pay day, etc.Wilder was offered 12.5 mil, went up to 15 mil, 7x more than what he got from the Ortiz fight, and he rejected it.

Wilder vs Ruiz makes more sense now. AJ and his team knows he needs to rebuild his brand and image while gaining momentum back to make the fight bigger than what it would be now.

I agree Wilder has no brain. He also wants the least risk possible.

Wilder has no great wins, why not a Ruiz on your cv?
