This is Benny’s chance to prove himself. It’s easy to pass the eye test when your best opposition was Ronald Gavril, but Caleb is no slouch and will more than likely box the defenseless Benavidez’ ears off. I have a feeling Benavidez will be outed as another Zurdo, but still hoping to be proven wrong. Whoever wins, it’s still one of the best fights on the board right now.

Great fight its a shame there's no title on the line but regardless two top level guys in the division fighting each other its refreshing to see. I'm picking benavidez to get the W tho

Every half decent fight seems to be ppv nowadays it definely would of been a showtime fight night or a hbo championship fight 7-8years ago but everything's behind a pay wall.

If Benavidez does win Plant i think Canelo fight should happen

Canelo probably fight Ryder in May as a tune up after hand surgery.

So it's about Sept 2023. If Benavidez wins Plant will Canelo fight happen? I think he might fight Bivol rematch in Sept, if he does i can't call it a duck even though people will try to claim duck, you can't call it a duck of Benavidez if he's instead going to fight the guy that beat him.

If Bivol rematch does not happen then Canelo vs Benavidez is the only other option Sept 23. If Bivol rematch happens then Benavidez needs to be the fight after.

All this is irrelevant if Plant wins which i think can happen. Looking forward to the fight
