Pretty transparent that Fast Eddie is trying to detour Bivol from Beterbiev
He had said that he wanted unification but his actions seem to be in contrast of that
Now he’s sticking another stick into Beterbiev’s spokes by stating that his fighter , Smith , is next in line
Eddie , why not Bivol ?
Then you got people here stating it’s Beterbiev who is avoiding Bivol
You really can’t make this chit up

Or Bivol should put his foot down, and demand that Fast Eddie allow him to fight Beterbiev on ESPN or Dmitry will NOT take the Cinnabon rematch that Hearn is drooling over.

Bivol has the Canelo rematch option and time on his side. The onus is on Beterbiev really, he's not getting any younger.

Don’t get me wrong , I wouldn’t care what channel it’s on but I think you would have to say Beterbiev has leverage since he’s got three belts
Even then just make it happen which I believe will be the case in July/August

The network/promoter thing is an issue which is why I'm not optimistic the fight happens anytime soon.

Hearn is obviously happy setting up fights for his guys such as Canelo vs Ryder, Bivol vs Buatsi, Canelo vs Bivol, Smith vs Beterbiev etc while Beterbiev gets older. But if Team Beterbiev makes Bivol a tempting offer which isn't in breach of his commitments to DAZN, he might instruct his team to take it seeing as he's already said he wants the belts.

Right now Bivol is in a good positi and, if he really wants the unification with Beterbiev, needs to tell Hearn (who works for him remember) to make the fight or he's leaving.
