Yarde has little to no chance. He telegraphs his big hooks and I’ve not seen any indication that he has the boxing fundamentals to match sneaky and deadly Beterbiev. Joe Smith Jr. was a far better fighter and he got put down three/five times before getting rocked out in the second. Yarde could very well surprise me, but I won’t put money on it.

During the second round, Johnson scored a rare knockdown of Beterbiev and had the Russian puncher rocked. Beterbiev recovered by the following round and eventually knocked Johnson out in the fourth.

What a load of crap , flash knockdown at best but not rocked at all
If he was he wouldn’t of came back to kn him the round after
This was courtesy of Boxingscene staff , didn’t even have the balls to put a name on it
            Fughin hilarious and quite sad

I honestly thought Beterbiev was a tad wobbly from the Johnson knockdown, but it was negligible. He seemed to just shrug it off like it was a bee sting.

At the time I thought he was hurt, but he could have also just been surprised by what happened. It's not like he didn't recover.

I think that was the waking slap in his face

When you have explosive speed and power like Yarde there's always a chance but yeah, the odds are against him.

Right, Beterbiev recuperative ability is impressive so if Yarde drops Arthur he has to go for broke then there.
