Yet Canelo was in every top 10 p4p list when Floyd him and he had 6 world title fights.

Also you mentioned his wins over the likes of Judah and Baldomir. They might not be truly elite fighters but beating them in 2005 or 2006 would be considered a very solid win for any other fighter, but for some reason not Floyd. Strange ...

      IF, IF, IF.

the whole point in sports is nobody is elite in every aspect. Its how you overcome your shortcomings and use your strengths to beat your opponent.

Canelo simply isn't as good as Bivol.

Besides, Bivol is better Canelo in almost every aspect in the ring. Better defence and accuracy (statistically the best in boxing), better jab, better distance control, better feet, better ring IQ, better cardio etc etc

Canelo basically had a punchers chance and he's not really a one punch knockout artist apart from a couple of times. Bivol obviously had enough power to stop Canelo walking through him. The funny thing is we saw Canelos dumb ring IQ that night. Just winging single shots at the arm of possibly the best defensive fighter in the game and tiring himself out.

As I predicted on here before they fought, Canelo could only win by robbery. There's simply no way his skill set could match up.

If canelo switches his style to adapt then it's a closer fight but bivol's speed and jab control GIVES him problems still

Apart from Nelos whos had a good long career but considering he was a baby when floyd fought him it's not suprising, but nobody would've predicted that after losing to floyd, and pac don't matters he had 7o fights and formerbflyweight so floyd not get much credit for that anyway
Floyd’s resume is aging like flat ginger ale
