You most be from another world to write this nonsense and baseless statement. I just going to point it out that Cubans won their first medal when they're 18 to 20 yo. Google how easy it's for them to turn professional. So what was the argument, it counts or not?

I have to agreed you with on this, fighting skill and talent wins the day. Why he's running away from benavidez and Morrell jr is beyond me.

in Cuba it ain't big for pro boxing like the U.S or Mexico due to their government, the best cuban boxers both Amatuer and Pro are Andy Cruz Gomez and Guillermo Rigondeaux

if benavidez didnt lose his titles to ******* and missing weight he would have gotten a canelo fight, also if benavidez wants to give canelo problems he needs to use his reach, hand speed, develop faster feet and his defense

            Point proven.

But even if I had said "Canelo is afraid of the athletic black boxer." He's not chosing an athletic black boxer, he's choosing an alcoholic mental patient.

            So, justify it
LMAO, so the narrative changes again, Charlo went from being "ducked for the past 6 years" to now being a mental patient.

"afraid" of Benavidez and Morrell? (again) LMAO.

What exactly does he have to be afraid of? What exactly have Benavidez and Morrell done to make anyone think Canelo is afraid of them?

Who were Benavidez's last opponents? A Canelo KO leftover that went 12 rounds with Benavidez and a blown up 154lber who had no business being at 168, who had never fought anyone that was a current or former world champion, that over the hill at 35, and a quitter?

Yeah, but let's dissect Canelo's opponents.

used to be big, but castro banned all profesional sport in Cuba. That's why we didn't have most representation in the pro ranks. At the beginning of the 90's we have a couple of past their prime fighters, I shouldn't say past their prime, but too old to jump into the professional game, and they did have over 300 fights in the amateurs, like garbey, Hurtado and Casamayor, the last two winning belts at 140 and Casamayor at 130-135, the only one that made a career was Casamayor, Hurtado made some $$ and moved to Spain. Then we had Ugas the Barthelemy brothers and before Lara and Rigondeaux , still Ugas and Rances were in their mid 20's just like Ramirez now, after a ton of fights. Andy is old That's why he is on the fast track, Gomez, Perez, Morell jr, Iglesias, Billy Rodriguez, Adlay Rodriguez and a least another dozen fighters defected young, including the whole under 17yo squad in Dubai. These fans claiming to be boxing fans, are fanboys, they follow one or two fighters not the sport, you can recognize them by what the post, always playing matchmaking and managers giving excuses of why this or the other guy can't face some other boxer. Read some of the tribulations those who has defected went through, and what happened to their family back in Cuban. I"ll tell you this, even if I wasn't Cuban I'd follow and support these Cubans athletes just on principal along, because of the oppression and the slavery they endure. It's hard to make in any country, even if you have some family with you, imagine if you're alone, don't speak the language and everyone is trying to take advantage of you.

Sure, we can dissect ALL of his opponents if you like. There’s an asterisk beside almost all of them.

                  so, Jermall next? Great fight!

Andrade hadn't fought at 154 in over 6 years by the time he fought Benavidez. Charlo, however, was definitely a blown up 154lber. Canelo fighting Jermell should be every bit as egregious as you feel David fighting Demetrius.

Actually before that happened, canelo said he wouldn't fight another Mexican, that was when he started his British tour. So why he doesn't fight him now? Still time.
