Father time is undefeated and he finally caught up with the legendary eubanks jr. That’s what happens when u take on all comers. To be a legend u have to beat a legend. Liam beefy is now british A side royalty. I wanna see a canelo rematch. I’d like to see eubanks beat up golovkin then come back to smith. He obviously loads better but smith might be that guy that just has his number

Eubank Jr for the most part was nothing but a name and a chin. What's his best win? A washed up DeGale maybe. His father luckily avoided the GGG fight.

Now, Eubank should really be beating someone like Liam Smith but in this case, weight played a big issue.

"Like I told him, I'd rather a body shot to a head shot. He say, 'No, I'm the other way round, I'd rather get hit with a head shot than a body shot.' Well, he's never been hurt to the head, so of course he's going to think that. He's not going to say anything different because he's never been down from a head shot. Now, he understands what I mean from that because I've experienced that, now he can see what I was talking about. I don't know if he goes straight back into [a rematch] but I do know he wants it."
To read this in Roy's fast-talking style.

No fighter in their right mind would fight being just 50% of his capabilities no matter how weak your opponent seems to be thats just ****** bs ,if so then eubank got to be the dumbest mofo ever and he fully deserved getting kayod. Just ****** man.

They says Some guys can tell you and some guys can show u.

Roy a great fighter in his prime but some of the fighters he has trained have not been successful.

                .....

It translated into a legendary fighter, but a trainer has to see his fighters for their strengths and weaknesses and make them the best that they can be. Not try to teach them how to fight like prime RJJ. Because no one can. Including Roy himself for the last decade of his career.

Not sure RJJ will ever be a great trainer.
Gifted athletes typically make poor trainers because they lack the sensitivity to ascertain what their charges need next to advance. The gifted athlete developed differently and therefore lacks the experience to know what an average fighter needs at any moment to improve. This is clearly evident with RJJ who was an elite fighter and Eubank Jr who is physically capable but not an elite talent.
