Shows what can happen when you try to give fans a good undercard along with a good main event. Hope this brings a change in PPV undercards. Cong**** to all involved, did better then I expected.

No, you're confusing rational boxing fans and boxing experts with haters.

Rational fans and boxing experts did not object to him fighting Judah as long as he also fought Boldomir, because the contract with Judah had already been signed before Judah lost, and everyone believed Judah had just had an off night against Boldomir anyway.

Rational fans and boxing experts did not object to him fighting Boldomir for the lineal title - of course he had to beat the champion, however weak the champion was. But the fact is that Boldomir and Judah were both very mediocre champions (especially Boldomir) who would not have remained champion for long even if Mayweather had not come along. What every neutral boxing fan objects to is that having won the lineal Welterweight title against a very mediocre champion, he did not defend his title against a legitimate Welterweight contender even once, despite the fact that a whole crop of Welterweight contenders subsequently came along who were a lot better than either Boldomir or Judah. That's simply indefensible.

As for the tired old fight night weight argument, according to the rules of boxing, weight classes are defined by the weigh-in weight, not the fight night weight. Fight night weight doesn't necessarily measure muscle weight anyway - it can be affected by several pounds simply by whether you have a big breakfast or not. Only Mayweather's fans give a monkey's about fight night weight, as it has nothing to do with weight class. In boxing, to be a great champion, you have to fight the best contenders in your own weight class, as defined by weigh-in weight, and Mayweather hasn't done that.

If he fights both Mosley and the Pac-Cotto winner in the next 6 months or so, and wins both fights convincingly, he'll regain a lot of the respect he's lost in recent years - and if he also fights PWill, he'll have massive respect from all neutral boxing fans. But as I said in an earlier post, the way he's been talking recently, especially the way he's been giving endless silly reasons not to fight Mosley, who is almost universally regarded as the #1 fighter in his own weight class, is not encouraging.

now that i think about it, HBO is a publically traded company and would get in quite a bit of trouble for fudging numbers, it would be the same as if someone posted fake profits, the SEC would be all over that.

              Your theory is bull****.

I have to agree with ya. Its what I've been saying. Its basically what is going to happen if Mayweather fights Pac.....

You know personally i give PBF credit for beating Hatton (he took an undefeated fighter who many thought could stop him)...
I give him no credit for beating Baldomir - that was freacking creation of Judah...
The fight with Judah was close, and could be a draw (especially if the KD was counted) - while Tszyu, Cotto and Clottey demolished Judah)
The fight with ODLH was close (though i think PBF landed more and won). I don`t blame PBF for talking ODLH - that was a big money fight.... everybody would duck anybody to take that fight (and i don`t think PBF ducked anybody at that time)...

The only problem i`m having with PBF is that he ducked Oscar for the second time (oh, yeh, he never needed money ) and the whole welterweight division...

I really want to see him with a great Mosley, with devastating body puncher in Cotto, with a freaking MW-SMW in Clottey, with a slugger (also a MW) in Margarito!

I mean,ok he dominated a fat Featherweight... an HoF Featherweight... But just forget it! Move on! I want to see Mayweather in the ring with some CHALLENGES!!! And excluding Hatton, he finished taking those after the second fight with Castillo!
