Be real, you dont think they might be inflting the numbers to look up par with UgayC wich inflates their numbers even worst?

If it did 1 Mill buys, it was beause JMM sold most of it, hence why this was moved to the mexican independece day and JMM drinking piss.

people only go to Floyd fights to see his ass get kicked. A bunch of Mexicans toight JMM would win!!!!!1

JMM sold it? Oh wow!..........Well, let me see,.......just how many ppv sales did JMM vs Diaz sell!...........oh, that's right. That fight wasn't put on ppv because tptb knew it wouldn' sell. However, after saying that, I'll say this. That was one of the best fights I've seen in years and imo was worthy of being a ppv event.

Well done. The delay and making it on a special day for mexicans, 24/7, Floyd, Jmm and GBP did a great job.

I better see some dollar bills being pushed into the camera for Mayweathers next 24/7 appearance. I bought the fight, and wasn't terrible excited about the outcome of any of the fights on the card. Hopefully first time buyers will give PPV another chance.

I will be 500x times more excited if we get a Mosley vs Mayweather PPV.

HBO Sports president Ross Greenburg tells The Associated Press that even he was somewhat surprised by the impressive numbers. He credits Mayweather's rising popularity and Marquez's loyal Hispanic fan base for the event's performance.
yes Floyd was a part of it, but he did sold the PPV alone.

Saying Floyd sold the PPV beause he is boxing biggest draw is bull****!!!!!!

I agree that Floyd was the main guy who sold it. He had help from GBP, big help IMO and HBO too, but he is the man that helped sell it to 1 mill.

Cotto and Pac will have a hard time to reach it.

This is for those so-called boxing fans who fervently prayed for the failure of Mayweather-Marquez...
