Eubank Junior was not dominating the fight. The fight was pretty much level.

It was 2-1 to Eubank Junior, going into round 4.

But for me Eubank Junior was putting more effort in fight, to keep it level.

Smith looked as if, he had not even gone through any gears and was fighting very efficiently 'He was making Eubank Junior work, by not even throwing punches'.

That was what surprised me, how educated Smith's pressure was.

As I have stated on another thread, I kind of think? The training camp for the Benn fight, and the pressure of making the 157 pound weight limit 'As well as adhering to the re-hydration clause, has had carry over effect on Eubank Junior for the Smith fight'.

Eubank Junior not only had to make 157 pounds vs Benn, he also could weigh no more than 5 pounds over the 157 pound limit on fight night 'So the maximum he could weigh was 162 pounds on fight night'. The pressure of training under those stipulations, I think has had some sort of negative effect on his durability for the Smith fight.

But even without that possible issue, Smith looked like he was fighting the better fight.

The rematch has to happen at 160 pounds, without any re-hydration clauses etc.

Roy could do it because he was very special. You can’t do it because you are good and not great! Beauty of boxing is that there are countless levels of nuance!

The first three rounds were close. They were mostly filling out rounds; Especially on Liam's part. After 3 rounds I had it 2-1 for Eubank but that second round was very close and could have gone the other way. However, I didn't recall any domination from either fighter before the TKO stoppage.

Smith was the better fighter on the night. Eubanks can't concluded he's still the better fighter until he wins rematch.

Eubanks is right. He’s obviously a better fighter. He’s literally an all time great. It was just a lucky barrage and lucky follow up barrage of punches. Even ali lost fights

He got put to sleep and he thought that he was in control and then he got put to sleep once Smith turned it up.
