Eubank trying to fight like a prime RJJ was such a poor play. Gods are gods, men are men. When will they learn??
When will they learn?

For whatever reason
Roy’s speed and reflexes were nearly superhuman, he was virtually invincible. When those advantages began to diminish, he didn’t have the skill set to stay at the top. Imparting his skill set to a mere mortal like Eubank Jr, isn’t doing him any favors.

Roy was trained like how classical composers were traineed 100's of years ago, by cruel and unusual punishment/standards. There is a story of a nail board his Dad made that if Roy's head came up too high on a bob & weave his head would his the nails. Roy never had a plan b style and to be fair who really does? The only fighter I've seen shed their skin was Floyd (due to his hands) and he's a bit of an anomally to be fair. Stylistically, fighters tend to get set in stone. Roy mastered fundamentals, but his style called for speed and getting a crack in your chin from being ko'd so close together didn't help either. For whatever reason

I've seen other fighters Roy has trained and they weren't doing Jones style. I think Chris was paying an omage to be fair.Comment
