consecutive wins without a loss earns you an opportunity, a strong showing gives you opportunity, potential KO and fireworks gives you opportunities. Franklin was working a regular job to pay the bills for his family, he is from a hard neighborhood too. Parker was hyped up and carefully managed from an early age he had businessman investing in him, he was shown on TV before he even turned pro, a little after turning pro he got a guaranteed monetary contract with "Duco" who brought in Kevin Barry. Another reason he doesn't deserve it is because Parker refused to talk to the police when he was implicated with facilitating drug dealing with his now jailed criminal friends/associates, and the fact that Parker has a nice guy personality the police admitted they messed up by not getting a warrant but did not pursue with a search warrant after because it was too late as Parker could just get rid of evidence, the police still asked Parker to just have a talk but he continued to refuse (silence is violence right). Also Parker fought a whole year in the courts going to the supreme court to get name suppression (he lost) and it was only after his Junior Fa fight it was revealed and that was when he ditched Kevin Barry his trainer and fled the NZ media to the UK straight after the Junior Fa fight.

Just letting people know Parker had it good starting out, got paid a monthly salary to box (Higgin's own words) and was well known before he even turned pro (due to PPV not being a thing in NZ and combat sports was shown free to air). Also he is not as nice a person people think he is. All this stuff about Parker is in court evidence Parker fought to the highest court in NZ to have his name removed from and statements from his lawyer not denying his chat handle online the drug dealers mentioned he was good for the money, the lawyer just denied he facilitated payment. The police said in a radio interview they should have got a search warrant for Parker but they expected him to cooperate, and ended up not getting a search warrant because it took too long and any evidence in digital devices would be long gone by then. Even so the police requested to have a chat with Parker after their first visit to his house but he continued to refuse to talk. Was a supporter of Parker, his **** performances and excuses put me off him long time ago but helping your drug dealing mates is not cool. Surprised noone cares or mentions it. He was making ****** videos over lockdown but he does not get any media attention now, basically he has never made comment about it as he left NZ straight as the News came out and noone apart from UK boxing guys interview him.
