    The Brahma Bull

It’s amazing that all the hype about Marquez is completely gone. It’s the same thing that happened to Hatton. Now it’s rumored that they’ll be facing each other in the future. It seems that the best of the losers will be facing each other. Marquez will fight Hatton and if Oscar makes a comeback, most likely he’ll be facing Margarito.
To get back in the hype, Marquez’s only chance is to talk about Pacquiao. His pee drinking will not get him back into the spotlight. He will always be remembered as the champion who challenged another and was humiliated. At least Ricky went down swinging. Marquez spent most of his time bobbing his left hand around and getting humiliated.
Just because Marquez gave Pacquiao an excellent fight doesn’t mean that Mayweather will do the same to Pacquiao. Mayweather couldn’t do to Hatton and De la Hoya what he did to Marquez. Granted that Floyd knocked Ricky out, Floyd wasn’t winning every rounded convincingly. Against Marquez, Mayweather looked like Pacquiao against Oscar.
Pacquiao will not stand around moving his left hand and wait for Mayweather to hit him so he can counter something. That was Juan’s mistake. He was waiting for constant punches to counter. Well, he didn’t get it from Floyd, thus making him an easy target. The only time Floyd did not look confident was when he was pressured. Marquez should’ve realized that but no, since he fought Pacquiao, he thought he can hurt Mayweather. Boy was he wrong. Instead of confident, he became irritated. He didn’t know what to do. For some ****** reason, he couldn’t figure out that he needed to pressure Mayweather more. He looked like Oscar when Oscar stopped jabbing. He looked lost.
Against Pacquiao, Mayweather will not have time to pose. Mayweather was pressured by Oscar and the fight went to a decision. A slow Hatton pressured him up to the 10th round. How is it possible for Marquez to believe that Pacquiao will be beaten easily? I’ll tell you how. He wants the focus of humiliation off of him and to be on someone else. He took Oscar’s place. Ricky gave Pacquiao a better fight than the fight Marquez gave Mayweather. Honestly, which one is more memorable? Is it the fight where everyone was screaming because of the constant fighting or the one where everyone was calling their television provider and asking for a refund because it looked like one of the fighters was in slow motion? Let’s face it. Marquez feels like an idiot. Now he wants to shift the focus to Pacquiao.

By the way, I really enjoy the comment about the chin, that being Marquez’s is better than Pacquiao’s. Nice. As Mayweather said, everyone knocks down Marquez. Great chin! Just as great as this article.

      • Marquez say's Mayweather will pick Manny apart, but what makes anyone think Manny will get past Cotto?... I say Cotto destroys Manny and Mayweather ducks Cotto

        • Marquez has moved on from being a whiner to outright pathetic

I like Marquez as a boxer, brilliant counter-puncher . . however, these days, aside from being a whiner when he lost to Pac Monster for two close fights . . Now, he is translating his pathetic performance in heavier weights to Pac Bashing. He should be thankful for Pac for those two great fights, which is why he is ranked so highly in the P4P rankings in most organizations. However, his fight with Mayweather at two weight divisions higher, really showed that he had no business being there. He was slow, did not have pop in his shots, and because of Money May's speed and defense, he got frustrated, and could not get into the flow of the fight. he could not even mount any good combinations. i was looking at the fight of Floyd vs Hatton and Floyd vs Marquez . . Hatton fought much better in the early rounds, than in any round that Marquez fought against Floyd. I hope this places a better perspective in his mind, that what Pac has done is incredible . . carrying his speed, and actually adding pop to his shots at 140lbs +. If that same lumbering Marquez was fighting Pac at 140lbs, he will finally get the KO, that Money May (a naturally bigger man) could not do. That is why, i don't think Pac will fall into the same fate as Marquez vs Money May . . it may still be an uphill climb, but if Pac gets in with his power shots (ie. better than what Hatton did), we may finally see how Money May handles that sort of pressure and an upset may be in the offing. First thing is first, Manny needs to take care of his very dangerous opponent Cotto in Nov. 14, then we can dig in to more plausible scenarios of Pac vs Floyd.

                • Underestimating......

You all obviously have not been keeping track of Pacquiao's progress as a fighter.....& if a trilogy with Marquez should happen in the near future, Manny would embarrass Marquez & retire him with a knockout! Mayweather's performance against Marquez did not impress me at all (in my opinion), Marquez looked like a sitting duck & Mayweather was basically sparring with the guy! Don't agree watch it again with that in mind! If Pacquiao-Mayweather should happen (when he get's passed Cotto on Nov. 14) Pacquiao would intensify the fight & work the guy fighting forward & the shoulder roll will not work on Manny, why? Because he has a unique style that has you turning the whole fight, & Mayweather does not have the strength to knock Manny out much less down....I would like Mayweather to stick his head out like he did against Marquez & see what happens! "Damn, like a beach ball boy!" quoting Mayweather. What do Beach ball's do when too much pressure is put on them? POP!!

How aptly you'd put it! This Marquez is downplaying his embarrassing defeat against Fraud Mayweather, at Manny's expense! What a shame!

A duck (Cotto) could not possibly destroy a fox (Pacquiao)!
