    M v P

Manny would KO Marquez at 135, 140, or 147. Manny moved up out of necessity, he'd outgrown featherweight and was obviously weight-drained in his last fight there against Marquez. If Manny fought Marquez at 144, it would've been the same result as the last 2 drubbings of fighters it took Mayweather to longer to beat, or in Oscar's case, just slip by. Marquez was always naturally smaller, and was pushing it at 135. He was getting bounced around by Juan Diaz who in his last fight looked small against Malignaggi. And let's not forget what happened to Paulie against Ricky Hatton. Look at how Hatton struggled at 147.

Point is, it's unrealistic compare fighters at smaller weights to those at higher weights. It might be the same person, but its a different fighter. Manny has yet to look out of his league at any weight, and most recently has looked better at 135 and above than he did at 130. We still have yet to see how Manny reacts to being hit at these higher weights. Same goes for Mayweather. Difference is Mayweather has yet to challenge himself against the class of the divisions at the 147 or above.

You're delusional. Marquez looked slow at that weight. Manny hasn't lost anything with the move up. Any objective non-delusional person can see that.

Joygasms? Fact is, JMM or DLH don't even need to state this...its already known and will become fact if Pacman ever gets by Cotto.

Maybe PBF has a better counter punching style than JMM but along the road it varies some, and that variations might be tailored made for Pac!
Not generalizing, I'm going what I have seen historically with these three fighters. Its simply my opinion, you do have some valid points but it will be a clearer picture after the Cotto bout. All we can do now is speculate

you never know what happens at fight night ... judging by what happened last fight, you would lean towards mayweather. Wait after pac/cotto fight is done, perhaps that might sway your decision. As for now, it looks this way.

This is not all bad. Now fans will demand that Mayweather should fight Mosley next. Sounds good to me!

If the fight floyd took against marquez which resulted in the all expected whitewash, happened, and if pacquiao would lose also to floyd, then there's no reason why he will avoid pacquiao, in a fight where we will see if what maquez is saying is true. So after pacquiao dispatched cotto on November 14, floyd must not be very sensitive on the purse issue, and fight pacquiao. Then we'll see if jmm's analysis is sensible.

do you mean like floyd's fight with judah became moot after zab lost to baldomir?

only a fool will believe in de la hoya. how many times did he make a prediction and make statements that never came true. he doesn't know what he's talking about. it's easy to understand that he's making this statements as a money hungry promoter instead of talking like a boxer. he talks to make money but deep inside he knows it's not the reality.
